Born and raised in Sydney, Australia by my badass mum, I’m a 17 year old aspiring entrepreneur with a huge love for personal development, promoting financial literacy amongst young people and following your highest aspirations.

I am currently in my final year of high school, counting down the days to graduation, and preparing to embark on my biggest challenge yet; navigating adult life. Aside from blogging, I’m an avid dancer, animal lover (especially my gorgeous kitten Luna and puppy Roxy), gamer, music and movie enthusiast, and lover of Marvel, ugg boots, commerce and economics.

I began this blog at the age of 13 during the 2020 lockdowns with way too much time on my hands, and I haven’t looked back since! I was passionate about making a difference in the world, and I know that little 13-year-old Mia wouldn’t believe how much we’ve gone on to achieve in four short years.

Here are some of my favourite goals I’ve been able to tick off (so far!):

I was named dux of my high school

I was named School Captain of my high school
I bought myself my first car
I received my dream technology/finance internship
I received the Top 30 in the 2023 Blue Ocean Student Entrepreneurship Competition (out of 5200+ applicants!)
I created a coaching program for high school students
I became a barista
I successfully ran my private tutoring business which I began at the age of 10
I started and scaled my 5-figure Etsy business
I started my dream club, Rise2Riches, promoting financial literacy amongst young women
I graduated high school! (Pending)

My life went in a completely different direction than I ever could have thought! But what excites me the most is that I’m only getting started!

And so are you!

To succeed in life means living outside of your comfort zone. This takes immense courage, but will make you unstoppable in life!

To me, living life to its fullest means being authentic to myself and others; being transparent in my values, expression and character.

I make it a priority in my life to spend time each day reflecting on everything and everyone that I’m grateful for that have made me who I am.

I am on a journey of lifelong learning and will constantly strive to gain more knowledge, understanding and perspective on the world around us.

I hope to spend my life endeavours unapologetically chasing my passions and building a life and career that I love. I see pure passion as the root of all success, and intend to follow its path.

Even in times of struggle, I always try to stand strongly with my moral principles by being honest, committed and present each day.

I will never be done trying to become the best version of me. Personal development to me looks like the building of better habits, skills and attitudes that bring me joy.

One of my favourite expressions my dad always says is that in order to be happy, you need to spend your life “with the people you love, in the places you love, doing the things you love.”
