The Best Scones!
This super quick and easy scone recipe makes incredibly fluffy and moist scones that can be thrown together with only 6 pantry ingredients!
Like any scones, these scones are best served warm and quite obviously served with abundant amounts of whipped cream and strawberry jam!

The Best Scones!
Prep: 15 Mins Cook: 20 Mins
6 Ingredients | 16 Serves
INGREDIENTS:
3 Cups self raising flour
1 Cup milk
80 Grams butter, chilled and cubes
Plain flour, for dusting
Jam, to serve
Whipped cream, to serve
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat the oven to 200°C and lightly dust a baking tray with plain flour.
Sift self-raising flour into a large bowl.
Using your fingertips, rub butter into flour until mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
Make a well in the centre and add 1 cup of milk. Using a butter knife, mix until a soft dough forms.
Turn onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently until smooth (do not over-knead!)
Pat dough into a 2cm-thick round. Using a 5cm diameter round cutter, cut out approximately 16 scones.
Place scones onto the prepared baking tray, 1cm apart and bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden and well risen.
Serve warm with jam and cream. Enjoy!
