The Best Chicken Nuggets!
These homemade oven-baked chicken nuggets are a healthy version of the family favourite, thrown together using just a few ingredients in under 30 minutes!
For a lot of kids growing up, chicken nuggets were an all-time fav! Though chicken nuggets have always had a reputation for being a quick and easy dinner for kids, they also always had a reputation for being extremely unhealthy!
This reason was purely why I was never allowed them growing up!

Though, after some time, I decided I wanted to challenge myself to make a recipe that makes quick, easy, oven-baked, homemade and overall healthy chicken nuggets for my family to enjoy!
When I first made this recipe I was blown away by how tender, flavourful, crispy and mouth-watering they were!

To customise these outrageously delicious chicken nuggets to your taste, add any seasonings or herbs of your choice to the breadcrumb mix and dip them into any sauce you enjoy! Yummy!
The Best Chicken Nuggets
Prep: 15 Mins Cook: 10-15 Mins
5 Ingredients | Approximately 2 Servings
INGREDIENTS:
200g Chicken strips/chicken breast (Approximately 3-4 medium-sized tenders)
Approximately 1/3 cup plain flour (or enough to coat all of the chicken pieces)
Approximately 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (or enough to coat all of the chicken pieces)
2 Eggs
Olive oil, to drizzle
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat the oven to 180Β° celsius.
Chop your chicken strips into bite-sized pieces.
Prepare 3 seperate bowls containing sifted flour in one, whisked egg in the next and breadcrumbs in the last.
Coat each piece of chicken in the flour, whisked egg and breadcrumbs, in that order.
Place the chicken pieces on an oven tray, drizzle them with oil and bake for 10-15 mins in the oven, flipping them halfway through.
Remove from the oven, sprinkle with salt and serve immediately.

Enjoy these tasty chicken nuggets with any sauce of your choice!
Feel free to add any extra seasoning to this recipe! Some examples include onion powder, garlic powder, chilli powder, cheese or herbs!
