Peanut Butter Protein Bars

Prep: 10 Mins Cool: 2 Hours

7 Ingredients | 8 Bars

INGREDIENTS:

Peanut Butter Bar-

  • Β½ Cup all natural peanut butter

  • Oats

  • β…› Cup maple syrup

  • 1 Teaspoon vanilla essence

  • 1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder

Chocolate Topping- (I would only recommend chocolate on top if you are eating them at home, otherwise it melts very quickly!)

  • 2 Tablespoons cocao powder

  • 2 Tablespoons coconut oil

  • 1 Teaspoon maple syrup

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Line a 8x8 Inch pan with baking paper.

  2. Place the oats into a blender or food processor and pulse until ground into a coarse flour.

  3. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl using a spatula until a thick dough forms.

  4. Place dough into the prepared pan and flatten using a spatula. Place into the refrigerator for 2 hours until firm.

  5. Then slice, wrap individually using baking paper and enjoy!

NOTE:

If your mixture is too dry, add more peanut butter or maple syrup, depending on its sweetness.

If the mixture is too wet, add more oats.

Depending on what you like, feel free to use the oats whole, as a coarse flour or as a fine flour.
