Crunchy Roasted Chickpeas!

2+ Ingredients | 2 Serves

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 Can chickpeas

  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil

Salted:

  • 2 Teaspoons salt

Cinnamon Sugar:

  • 1 Teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • β…› Cup caster sugar

Turmeric & Lime:

  • Β½ Teaspoon ground ginger

  • 2 Teaspoon turmeric

  • Juice of Β½ lime

Chilli Lime:

  • 1 Teaspoon chilli powder

  • Β½ Teaspoon cumin

  • Β½ Teaspoon salt 

  • ΒΌ Teaspoon garlic powder

  • Juice of Β½ lime

BQQ:

  • 1 Β½ Teaspoon paprika

  • 1 Teaspoon brown sugar

  • Β½ Teaspoon salt

  • Β½ Teaspoon garlic powder

  • ΒΌ Teaspoon mustard powder

  • ΒΌ Teaspoon black pepper

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Drain the canned chickpeas and dry them thoroughly  using a clean dish towel or paper towel.

  2. In a bowl, toss the chickpeas with the olive oil. 

  3. Preheat your oven to 180Β° celsius and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  4. Spread the chickpeas on the baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes.

  5. Remove the chickpeas out of the oven and place them in the bowl you used before.

  6. Add your desired spice mix and toss well until chickpeas are evenly coated.

  7. Return them to the baking sheet and bake for another 10 minutes until they're browned and crunchy.

  8. Serve and enjoy! Keep them in a sealed container in room temperature for up to 2 weeks!
