This Peanut Butter Protein smoothie is the perfect way to start your day! This smoothie will keep you satisfied for hours on end whilst loading you with the flavours of peanut butter and chocolate, all in a single glass!

Peanut butter is one of my all time favourite foods! It’s something that I could probably survive on if the scenario came up...and it goes with almost everything! Something that it goes hand in hand with (just like peanut butter and jelly) is protein shakes!

With all the nutrients needed before or after a hard workout, and the taste of a sweet dessert, what more could you want with this nutritious and delicious peanut butter protein smoothie!

This recipe has always been one of my favourites since it is a quick, easy and healthy alternative to high effort, time consuming, greasy and processed breakfasts. It is great idea if you are a growing kid and teen since it is filled with nutrients, sweetness and lots of protein!

Peanut Butter Protein Smoothie!

Prep: 5 Mins Cook: -

5 Ingredients | 1 Serve

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 banana (Can be frozen or thawed)

  • ½ cup milk (Can be cow or almond milk, whichever you prefer)

  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter (I go for all natural)

  • 1 scoop chocolate (or vanilla) whey protein powder 

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender.

  2. Blend until smooth and pour into a cup.

  3. Serve immediately and enjoy!
